Firmex alternatives with published prices
Firmex publishes no price: its pricing page offers a quote for a one-time single-project fee or an annual subscription, set by data requirements and project length. The alternatives priced here are Papermark (Data Rooms is $179 a month billed monthly), DocSend, Ansarada and ShareFile, all as read on October 31, 2026.

Papermark Data Rooms and Plus include team members in a flat price, and Papermark says it charges nothing per visitor. Plus adds what a sale with buyer questions uses: the Q&A module, a visitor audit log, automatic file indexing and freezing a closed room. Data Rooms has no Q&A module or visitor audit log, so a sale that needs them starts on Plus. Extra team members cost $79 a month billed monthly or $59 billed annually on Plus.
DocSend Advanced Data Rooms lists due diligence tracking and an audit log for 3 users. Papermark charges its annual rate up front for 12 months, so the monthly rate is the short-term option for a sale that closes sooner; virtual data room cost works the totals by months open.
Priced by data and term: Ansarada
Ansarada prices a room by data volume and term, and its pricing page shows the table once its currency control is set to US dollars. A 250 MB room is $479 a month on a 1-month term, $374 on a 3-month term and $329 on a 6-month term, billed as $1,974 every 6 months. Its totals exclude GST.
Billing starts at go-live or 90 days after creation, whichever comes first. Extra data is billed at peak usage and removing files does not reduce that invoice, and plan changes wait for the end of the term.
Datasite, Intralinks and iDeals: quotes like Firmex
All three price by quote, as Firmex does. Datasite shows "Book a demo" and "Try for free" and no price; what the free option opens is not stated. Datasite says it handles buy-side, sell-side, restructuring, financing and IPO work in one data room.
Intralinks' VDRPro page shows a quote button and no price. iDeals lists three plans, Core, Premier and Enterprise, that each say "Get price". Core is a single project with five administrators and 0.5 to 2 GB, and Core and Premier offer a free-trial button.
When Firmex or another enterprise room still fits
A formal multi-party sale that needs project support fits Firmex, Datasite, Intralinks or Ansarada better than a flat plan. Firmex lists 24/7/365 support on both of its models. Papermark's Plus card lists SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001, and Datasite says it is SOC 2 Type II attested and ISO 27001 certified, so ask each vendor for its SOC 2 report.
